Graphics
Still 2-D fellas. They improved the graphics somewhat, added a few new sprites and such, and overall everything looks a lot smoother, less choppy. Definately not good graphics though, not even mediocre. The graphics definately are not going to be getting people to buy the game. To put it nicely, they suck =) And everyone in your park are still guys.

Sound
Lots of new music for your rides to play while running. Although together they cound terrible, alone there are some that are very nice. My favorite is medievil. The customers still do not talk much, that you can hear. All they do is chatter and make gagging sounds when they throw up. Nothing was upgraded on that part for sure!

Gameplay
Now this is what makes people buy this game: it is so addicting! I'm 18 and this is about the only game I play next to TJ&E3 and, rarely, DOA3. They added so many new food/shop stalls, rides, and pre-made rollercoasters that it does not get boring! Not to mention that they now have three difficulty levels to choose from, playing or building a Six Flags Theme Park, AND creating your own scenarios.

Overall
Maybe I am just biased from the original, which I played more than the sequel and got sick of it, but this game kicks ass. I can play for hours on end and not get bored. If you ignore the graphics and forget the fact that the sound just sounds funny, the game rocks. However, I recommend this game to older children, ages 10-15, rather than people my age or younger children. For younger children this game would be way too difficult to beat, if that is what they planned on doing with it. Hell, this is almost too difficult for Sniper's 10 year old brother!
